From The Kilmahew Estate
Corderius
Corderius provides the Educational element of The Kilmahew Estate by facilitating guided tours for students and academics, architects and members of the public. We already facilitate a well established Forest School in our 140 acre semi-ancient woodlands. We are also planning to restore and repurpose our Brutalist Education Block to recreate on-site lecture theatres, common room, library and events spaces.
Woodlandwise Forest School
Woodlandwise Forest School is a Community Interest Company rooted in the belief that nature-based education has the power to transform lives. In a world filled with distractions and disconnection, it offers a chance to pause, reconnect and grow.
Programmes are open to all ages, stages and walks of life because everyone deserves the chance to experience the wonder of the wild. Through hands-on learning, exploration, play and discovery, it nurtures deep connections with nature and supports holistic development in every individual.

The Education Block
Sitting prominently to the west of St. Peter's Seminary, The Education Block is another staggering icon of Brutalist Architecture. The Kilmahew Estate plans to restore the entire building back to its former glory enabling Corderius to offer year round educational facilities for all ages. Focussed on Media, Design, Architecture, Engineering and Finance a new campus will provide exceptional knowledge transfer capabilities surrounded by Kilmahew's semi-ancient woodland and burns.
