From The Kilmahew Estate
The Fungarium
In 1893 The Kilmahew Estate opened itself to an intrepid group of explorers from the Glasgow Natural History Society. Over two weekends in September and October, the group set out to record as many species of fungi as they could find and to document their excursion for generations to come. Nowadays, Kilmahew continues to log its many species and the concept of a light and sound show began to emerge.
The Fungarium
An immersive macro experience in the form of a light and sound experience that recreates those exploration in late 1893.
St. Peter's Seminary
Set deep within the curtilage of The Kilmahew Estate's semi-ancient woodland biome, St. Peter's Seminary becomes the blank canvas for a serious of internal and external light projections and film sequences.
