From The Kilmahew Estate

Having been abandoned for over 40 years the 140 acre Kilmahew Estate is now a hive of activity, especially in relation to film location services. We needed a mobile battery power station that could be charged up overnight from multiple renewable energy sources on the Estate. ScOURCE Renewables is investing in multiple technologies and solutions to integrate a net negative carbon infrastructure for the Estate which can then be scaled up for other difficult sites across the UK.
ScOURCE Battery
A simple battery storage facility for film & TV locations to eradicate the need for diesel powered energy generation. The battery is available all day before returning to its overnight renewable energy starting point.
ScOURCE Pico Hydro
Taking inspiration from the steam driven paddle wheels that powered the ships of James Burns early shipping empire in Victorian times, we plan to place paddle wheel pico hydro devices along a stretch of Victorian Canal feeding the Swan Pond at Kilmahew.
