Anti-Counterfeit DNA Intelligence Service
The problem with anti-counterfeit Policing and Intelligence is that it relies of front-to-back seizures which rarely lead back to the organised crime behind the counterfeits.
ACDIS can now provide a one-stop solution to undermine every aspect of counterfeit and fake goods trading across the world. ACDIS is in progress, has won a business development award at the UK space centre and is now ready to move to a full trial stage.
Cotton
We started with Cotton, looking at unique tracers within each global species to create our database of samples for base-lines. These help us monitor the fake fashion sector.
Paper
We then applied the same scientific approach to paper in order to tackle fake tobacco products and also designer packaging. ACDIS is now ready to test on other markers found within multiple fake products.
