From The Kilmahew Estate
HALO
The Heritage Architecture Liminal Observatory (HALO) has been set up to make studies of each and every aspect of the Kilmahew Estate with a view to supporting its bid for UNESCO World Heritage status. HALO works as a consultancy which acts at the 'Threshold' of the past and the future, or what is lost and found, abandoned then unabandoned. These Liminal activities provide a structured methodology for reclaiming the Estate and repurposing it. HALO practice can then be transferred and rolled out to other similarly challenging issues.

Situation Briefs
We are preparing a series of important situation briefs in support of The Kilmahew Estate's bid for UNESCO World Heritage status.
St. Peter's Seminary
HALO becomes the focal point for the restoration and repurposing of this iconic structure matching functions with forms and studying cultural trends to ensure the Seminary has an important part to play in local, national and international cultural events.
